HAVOK: New Track Stream Available Today Via Metalunderground.com
Today the rad folks at Metalunderground.com premiere brand new track, “Scumbag In Disguise,” from Denver thrash collective HAVOK. The tune comes off the band’s upcoming new full-length entitled Time Is Up, which is slated for a March 29th release via Candlelight Records. The follow-up to the ravaging Burn long-player was mastered by James Murphy and features ten tracks of flawlessly executed thrash anthems.

HAVOK formed in 2004. After two self-released albums, the band caught the attention of England’s Candlelight Records and by the Spring of 2009, the band unleashed Burn to the metal masses. The album peaked on CMJ’s Loud Rock chart at 15 and broke MediaGuide’s Top 10. Continued radio play came from KBPI/Denver, KUPD/Phoenix, WKLL/Waterville NY and WSOU/South Orange NJ. Music Choice and the syndicated metal program Full Metal Jackie also gave HAVOK repeated airtime.

LAZARUS A.D.’s highly anticipated upcoming album, Black Rivers Flow, was recorded in July and August 2010 at Belle City Sound with Chris Djuricic and was mixed and mastered by James Murphy at Safehouse Production. The album hits stores on February 1st, 2011.

FIRST EPISODE OF “THE MAKING OF BLACK RIVERS FLOW” POSTED AT METALINJECTION.NET
LAZARUS A.D. and MetalInjection.net have just released the first of six exclusive episodes chronicling “The Making of Black Rivers Flow”. The behind the scenes footage for the series was filmed by the band and produced/edited by Clay Cook at Dirty Cheese Design & Development. Stay tuned into MetalInjection.net for new episodes posting throughout the month of January!
“This time in the studio, we decided to record what was going on behind the scenes during the recording of Black Rivers Flow,” states bassist and vocalist Jeff Paulick. “We compiled over 50 hours of footage and edited this into six episodes that show you a side of the band rarely ever seen. We hope this gives everyone a deeper understanding of what went into the recording of Black Rivers Flow.”

AOL’s Noisecreep Premiers EkoTren Track
If you’ve never heard of Ekotren, Noisecreep is happy to change that by premiering the brand new song ‘The End of the Day.’ The track is from the Cape Coral, Fla. band’s ‘The Dead of Night’ album, which is due out Jan. 25.
It packs emotional punch amid guitar crunch, and guitarist Keith Finnell told Noisecreep that it’s “the opening song on our new album ‘The Dead Of Night.’ This song was actually one of the last songs we wrote for the new album, and it turned out to be one of our favorite songs on the record.
